Tea and chat at Christchurch Lanner. This is at 2pm on the last Friday of each month. On February 22nd there will be a cake sale.
Christchurch Lanner Film Club. This is now scheduled for the last Friday of each month and starts on Friday February 22nd. Doors open at 6.30pm and the film starts
at 7pm. This club is part of CFYLM and membership is needed. Your first film costs £6.00 and you have then joined the club. Subsequent films for the next year cost
£3.00. Ice-cream is provided for FREE! The February film is ‘Mamma Mia 2 – Here We Go Again’.

The World Day of Prayer will be held this year in St Andrew Redruth Church on Friday 1st March at 2pm. The women of SLOVENIA have written this year’s service,
the theme of which is ‘Come, Everything is Ready’, based on the story of the Great Feast in St. Luke’s Gospel, Chapter 14. The same service and prayers will be offered
all around the world on the same day. This service is open to everyone and is always interesting, inspiring and educational, and is followed by refreshments. Everyone is very welcome.

There will be a World Day of Prayer planning meeting on Friday 22nd February at 2pm in St. Andrew Redruth Church, anyone wishing to help or participate will be very welcome to attend. ‘Rock Around The Clock’. Tickets for our musical extravaganza on Saturday 2nd March have almost sold out so, if you haven’t bought yours yet, please see or
phone Lez (01209 215191) soon. No tickets will be on sale after 26th February as we need final numbers then to order the pasties! Tickets cost £7:50 to include supper.

A Beetle Drive and Pancake Party will be held at Christchurch Lanner at 7pm on Saturday March 9th to celebrate the beginning of Lent. Lent 2019 Study Groups
A six week course on The Book of  Revelation. ‘Windows Into Revelation’, written by Haley Preston (formerly the
Methodist Superintendent of the Redruth Circuit) whilst she was training for the Anglican Priesthood. This will be
held from 7pm – 9pm at Christchurch, Lanner on Monday March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and Monday April 1st, 8th.

A Wednesday lunchtime course at Christchurch Lanner will start on Ash Wednesday and continue each
Wednesday up to and including Wednesday April 10th.

The meetings start after the 11am BCP communion service and go on until 1pm with a break for lunch. Drinks, soup, bread and crisps are provided.


Food Bank – all donations are gratefully received for the
food bank. Items we are desperately
short of are milk, tins of potatoes,
spaghetti, custard and rice pudding.
