Sarah Lisa, and Ray (Lisa’s sister) arranged the flowers around the church and it looked beautiful. Linda created the scene on Calvary and the tomb of Jesus Christ, together with the stone, in a garden layout beneath the altar. Chris Vining and Andy ensured the Church set up was complete, candles replaced, and everything made ready for the dawn fire on Easter Day. As we listened to the dawn chorus break and waited for the sun to rise, we remembered the message of Easter and gave thanks. After the service, bacon butties and hot tea were served.
The church is now open by volunteers each day from approx. 10am to 4pm. You are very welcome to visit and enjoy the peace.
